Day 11 - 30 Days Wild project

Another scorcher today but with so many other things to do, I was only able to take a few minutes to photograph various plants and the insects found on them.

This Shield bug was found on the Broom bush - we think it's a Gorse Shield Bug.

 

Two butterflies were enjoying life in the strawberry patch!!

The final photo is one of the many young fledglings around the garden.

Tonight, we are going to put out moth traps again - hoping that the recent days of hot weather will have persuaded more moths to emerge.
We did find a few moths flying around last night as we turned lights on outside so, as always we are quite hopeful.
