Busy today until 3pm so haven't gone very wild today! Came home and spent time in the garden keeping our garden visitors happy. Time to clean the bird feeders - waiting for them to dry before we refill them now.
Made our own fat ball for them today too - except that ours is square rather than round! I usually use the fat from our Sunday joint as a starting point and then add seeds, peanuts, sultanas and whatever else is about at the time. The birds always seem to like it!
Then spent time cleaning all the saucers, bowls etc that we have around the garden that we fill with water for them. This includes a bowl shape dug out in the top of an old tree stump. Have seen lots of birds using all of them so it takes a while to go round every day topping them all up with fresh water!
Cleaned and refilled our saucer for the Bumble Bees too. Not sure about the best place to put it but decided to put it on our tree stump table laid for tea!
